Nokia N900 is one of newest additions to the internet tablet family by the Finnish company. It runs with the new Maemo 5 and is said to be available in selected markets this October at an estimated price of about €500 or P35,000 in the Philippine local currency.

Nokia has finally joined the bandwagon as it enters the PC industry with its very first netbook running Microsoft’s Windows operating system. This move by Nokia is said to be crossing the border between converging industries in the opposite direction as with Apple, which entered the phone industry in 2007 with iPhone.

The video above says all about its features. In addition, Reuters reported that a source close to Nokia said the new netbook would use the upcoming Windows 7 operating system. Microsoft says a stripped-down version of Windows 7 will be introduced to netbooks the same time as its general release on October 22.

The question now is: Will Nokia be able to cope up with the laptop market, given that this industry is already crowded as it is now?

After the end of the First Round of eliminations last Sunday with the DLSU vs. ADMU game, it’s now time to brace ourselves for the Second Round! Starting this Thursday, it will be an extreme effort for all the teams to give their best to either retain their rankings on top, or make it to the top (at least to the top 4).

The 2nd round schedule is based on a formula that UAAP follows: like 1 vs 3, 2 vs 4, 5 vs 7, and 6 vs 8, depending on the standings after the 1st round.
