…And another season is over for the renowned singing competition American Idol Season 8. It was a head-to-head battle between Adam Lambert and Kris Allen, who both had equal chances in becoming the season’s champ!
America has voted, with over 100 million votes in four hours. The early favorite and judges’ bet Adam placed second next to the new hailed AI Champ Kris Allen. It was a safer choice to choose Kris as this season’s winner due to the ‘ugggh’ feeling Adam gives to listeners through his endless high tones and rock-ish songs.
Kris Allen performed Ain’t No Sunshine, What’s Going On, and the coronation song No Boundaries yesterday during the Finale’s performance night, which was held at the beautiful Nokia Theater. He was pitchy singing the last song written by AI judge Kara DioGardi, but nevertheless won the hearts of millions.
We shall look at Kris Allen’s journey as a champ and see if he becomes famous unlike the previous winners Fantasia, Taylor, etc. who were beaten by their season’s runner-ups in terms of popularity.
