The long wait is over! After months of news, blogging, and features, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic also known as Tube — the mid-range touchscreen phone of Nokia — has arrived Manila!
Nokia Philippines had its pre-order promo during the last quarter of 2008. Thinking that they won’t really run after me if I decide not to purchase one (since they didn’t post the price in the website yet), I decided to register.
According to blogs and other news items, it was supposed to be released on January 17, 2009 at a price of PHP20,000. After receiving an e-mail from Nokia today, I was surprised that the release date was moved to an earlier date - January 10, 2009, and the price is down to PHP19,990.
I am still thinking twice if I’d purchase one or not, but I really need to decide ASAP. Oh no!
