Nearby Good Shepherd / At Lion’s Head / Dinner at Glenn 50’s Diner
My friends decided to visit Baguio for a short trip last January 30 to February 1, 2009. I really wanted to join them, but I had a problem. The problem was not because I have work on the Friday they left Manila. My problem was I had to attend my voice-acting workshop, which is in the morning of Saturday.
Not wanting to miss a single session of my voice-acting workshop (and with the “pilit” powers of my friend), I traveled to Baguio alone right after the workshop, even if I knew that my stay there won’t even reach 24 hours. (My friends were there by Friday.)
- Left Victory Liner Pasay Terminal around 1PM and arrived Baguio at 8PM.
- Had dinner with friends at GLENN 50’s DINER (yes, my name’s really part of the resto name)
- Watch “Step Brother” on piracted DVD and drank very little portion of my friend’s concoction
- Slept 1AM
- Heard 3 of my friends still not sleeping at 5AM, so I went down and chatted with them
- Started working in the kitchen at 6AM, prepping up for breakfast - cooked rice, spam, egg, sisig
- Took a bath and started waking people up to take a bath and eat breakfast
- Left the house by 11:30AM and went to Good Shepherd to buy some goodies
- Stopped by the church for my friends to light up the candles
- Headed towards the market to buy some strawberries and veggies for our families
- Ate lunch at McDo
- Left Baguio around 3AM
- Stopped by the Lion’s Head to have a group pic
- Finally bidded goodbye to Baguio around 4PM
- Had dinner at Kennys/KFC in NLEX around 7:30PM before dropping of a friend at Sta. Rita Exit
- Arrived Greenhills (our drop-off point) around 10:30PM
- Reached the house past 11PM
So there it is… my Baguio Trip in less than 24 hours. More pictures in my Multiply, but it’s only accessible for my contacts and their networks.
